Dove Mountain is a master-planned community in the Town of Marana, at the foot of the Tortolita Mountains in northwest Pima County. Most of its homes were built in the 2000s, and Interstate 10 runs just to the west, about 20 miles from downtown Tucson.
Neighborhoods range from traditional subdivisions and active-adult communities, such as Heritage Highlands and the Highlands at Dove Mountain, to custom luxury estates and the Ritz-Carlton Residences. Homes lean toward ranch and New Traditional styles with Spanish touches like tile roofs and arched windows, and most neighborhoods have a homeowners association.
Prices cover a wide range, from about $300,000 for townhomes and smaller single-family homes to $1 million and up for larger estates. Ask me for current sales in the neighborhoods you like.

- Golf: The Gallery Golf Club, a private 36-hole club, and The Golf Club at Dove Mountain, a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus design that hosted the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship from 2009 to 2014.
- The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain: a resort with dining and a spa, right in the community.
- Trails: more than 50 miles of regional hiking and biking trails nearby, including the Dove Mountain Community Trail and the Tortolita Preserve.
- Getting around: Interstate 10 is just west, Tucson Premium Outlets and Northwest Medical Center are each about 10 miles away, and Oro Valley shopping is about 5 miles east.
Schools
Dove Mountain is served by the Marana Unified School District, including Dove Mountain CSTEM K-8 School, Tortolita Middle School and Mountain View High School. Boundaries change, so please confirm school assignments with the district for any home you are considering.
